| I have an Ammonia Remover from Top Fin (PetSmart brand) that I haven't used for 11 months... I just bought it, never used. I have this dechlorinator but its dosing is small, 2 drops for 1 gallon. The bottle for the ammonia remover is perfect for the job. The problem is, can I use the dechlorinator inside the ammonia remover bottle? I've rinsed it thouroghly, filling and emptying the bottle with tap water at least 30 or so times. I also let it sit for 2 hours twice. I'm concerned because it still smells like the ammonia remover....

I don't understand why it's necessary, but I do have a suggestion: fill it with vinegar overnight and then add baking soda in the morning, rinse it several times, and then see if it smells like the ammonia remover.

| ahaha... is this ammonia remover? or dechlorinator? oh well, more drops! 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... that's what the bottle said for 1 gallon! I'll make sure on that part :D
