my clownfish has small white spots but does not look like ich it is pale in color and some of the white stuff is stringy like 1 mm it has affected my other clownfish and are both in quarintine i want to do a freshwater dip but how is it done?and what does my clownfish have ?.my paramentars are nitrite 0 nitrate 0 ammonia 0 and temp raised to 80F ph 8.3,please help

I'm sorry to say, that sounds like clownfish disease (aka brooklynella hostilis). I lost my whole tank (four fish at the time) to it almost a year ago, so I know how awful it is. Here is a resource that hopefully can help you in time. http://home2.pacific.net.ph/~sweetyummy42/brookynella.html

the fish passed away today and the other fish seems to be ok and is not really feeding but its seems healthy i still do notwant to take a chance what is formalin 3 and is avaliable at petsmart or petco?

my other clownfish  has ich instead of clownfish disease so i rushed to the store to buy rid ich  and so far the clownfish is racing every where then he stated to slow down.the only thing thats areating is the filter with no carbon or anything for that matter.do you think i should lower my salanity? should i do water changes?anything that can help me is much appreciated

The clownfish with ich is in a hospital tank right? If so I would just treat with rid ich and do water changes in between doses. You have to treat until the spots have been gone for at least a week or they'll come right back.

its in the same tank it waz in when i bot it my hospital tank is a 15 gallon that is broken with many cracks so ill just have to keep it in there
