My favorite fish, Topaz died........ This is how the story goes: It was my birthday and when I came home from school, My brother secretly bought me Topaz. (I saw her in the fish store so I wanted her and I told my brother.) I was overjoyed! I named her Topaz because of my birthstone (November)and I loved her(she was also colored yellow and orange).............................................................................................. She was the only fish I talked to most. But now she died........ Ohhhh......she was so cute..................................bye bye Topaz....You had a good life..... with me......................................................................................................

| I am so sorry for your sad loss, i bet she was a beautiful fishy, i feel so sad now :( But she had the best of everything with you while you looked after her, so maybe you can comfort yourself with that thought:)

She was the most beautiful.... She had the cutest little body...  I had the best weekend and when I got home, it went to nothing. My little little Topaz was in between the fake plant and the Java Fern facing down. She was pale. She was dead. I was not happy. It all happened too suddenly. Not the wrong place, but the wrong time. Well if you want to hear good news ask Fattfishy about the new baby balloon molly.

| I posted Rainbow Bridge in response to your comments and sadness - pets are never really lost because we never forget the joy that they brought us - I cannot believe - even as a practical scientific professional, that these souls are not, in some way, rewarded for their beauty and for what they exude that which gives us such joy - I hope the poem gives some comfort -
