What he said, plus, with that much bioload in such a small pond, even if she gets rid of the algae, she's in for more problems down the road. I'd get rid of the plecos, myself. They have no place with goldfish, in my opinion. That'll be one big step toward getting rid of the algae anyway.

With that much biomass in that small of a space, it may simply be a case of waste build-up. If this is so, only water changes are really going to help (or lots of live plants).

Also, upping the gph of the water flow can help, as well as adding a UV sterilizer. No less, both of these options can be spendy.

The pond is a 90 gallon and it is partly shaded. It has a filter and a fountain. The frog is definitely alive and the goldfish come to the top when she feeds them. That is the only time she can see them. She can't see anything through the water and yes the water is definitely green.

How large is the pond? And is all or most of it in direct sunlight, or is there shade of some kind? Is there a filter, waterfall, fountain, or anything of that nature?
First, I would check and be absolutely sure none of the fish or frogs have died and are fouling the water.
Are you sure the water itself is green?

There's a few options, but in depends on the answers to those questions.

My neighbor is having an algae problem in her small outdoor pond. I told her I would ask here for help for her. She has 2 or 3 plecos in there and 1 large snail plus a few smaller ones plus 2 or 3 large goldfish and a bullfrog. Her water is green and she can't see through it at all. Any ideas on how to get rid of algae in a pond? Thanks,
