I think it would be a great idea so everyone could tell there fish stories.

I agree. Most forums now have off topic category so people can talk about random things going on.

The only suggestion I would have would be rules regarding politics since that topic seems to be the biggest cause of issues in off topic categories.

sure why not?....we can all learn something whether it be by question a statement or just from a life experience and the only way to do that is by sharing with each other so I say bring it on great idea!!!:)

Sometimes I want to post "fish-related not exactly fish" topics and I don't have a sure way of finding out where to post.

I think maby people in the hobby want to share stories about there fish, or there feelings about the hobby. I think like an open forum about any topic related to fish/the hobby or feelings of each
