| Well, I'm not new to the site (joined 5/15/07) but I never introduced myself. Haven't been on much cuz the site used to be really slow (pages took forever to load), but I've been creeping back in lately. I've had tanks since I was about 8 years old (except for some of the time I was in the Army) and have loved keeping fish. I worked in a pet store in NYC and learned a lot of dos and don'ts that way. I've been big on cichlids for the past 2.5 years or so and love my current set up. Fortunately my wife tolerates my obsession and has let me set up a small breeding operation so I can grow some of these guys out. You probably noticed I have MTS...like most other fishkeepers! :D I love this hobby and love meeting other fishkeepers to share knowledge and pictures with. I'm not an expert, but I've learned a lot and am always learning more and willing to try different things in the name of getting one more tank in the house. lol

welcome back. I too have multiple tanks in multiple rooms. I, too, have african cichlids. As a matter of fact, my Zebra Obliquedan has been holding since about 11/21, that leaves around 7 more days. She looks great though.
