| here is a pic
I haven't been able to find much info on this fish. Here is what I know so far. - they can be kept in waters ranging from 30 to - 90 degree temps - they grow to about 3.5" - they come from a remote part of South America. What do you think?

I finally found some of these fish. I have a chance to buy them but I still know very little about them. Does anyone have any info on these beauties?

Yeah, bad upload. Try it again, or you can post a link to wherever you found it.

| Yeah, I got it from the attached link and before that I researched it on my own. It sure is pretty...everything I saw in Gymnogeophagus was pretty. Very nice and bright; I hope the color and shine doesn't diminish as they age. How big do they get again? I'll have to reread your post... Well, they aren't exactly common in the hobby, that's for sure. If you want to try, I'd set them up in a large species tank. Maybe you could even get them to breed. :) Oh, nice, 3.5 inches. I'd be prepared for them to get bigger; sometimes info in rare fish like that can be scant and anecdotal. Give 'em a shot if you want, I'm sure it'd be a gorgeous setup. And don't forget to give us pics! :>
