I may be interested in getting a pond and I'm wondering what kind of liners you all prefer, solid or the lined type and which kind do you like best out of the liners?
Thanks for the input :)

| preformed are my way. The orange clay we have in Virginia doesn't help with keeping the liner's sides stiff and straight- or slanted for that matter. It really depends on how much $, time, and effort you are willing to spend. Liners are cheeper, but take more prep and building time. Preformed ponds come in a lot of different shapes, but still make you conform to their layout. The preformed ponds don't do well for waterfalls- so if you want a water fall with a preformed pond you can join them fairly easily. -Dazzle

| I use the EDPM 45mm made by Firestone. This liner is very strong and durable.
