I want to get a pond in which I could keep a largish turtle and maybe some goldfish. I have never looked at ponds or equipment before and was wondering on average how much it would cost. Right now they are in a kiddie pool and if a nice pond would be to expensive I might just upgrade to a larger pool. Thanks for any estimate.
My Tanks: 15 gallon: 1 female red wag platy, 1 female sunburst play, 3 black skirted tetras, 1 plecosomas, 1 mystery snail3 gallon: 1 male crowntail betta 1 gallon: 1 female crowntail betta Pond: 1 Map turtle, asorted minnows Other pets....3 rabbits, 2 red ear sliders, chickens, ducks, horse, Fainting goat

Cost is going to vary depending on what kind of system you choose, but plan on about $15-25/gallon and you'll wind up with a decent system.

Turtles and goldfish are usually not the best idea together, although it does depend somewhat on the species of turtle and the type of goldfish.
20 gallon long
Lionhead - Kiko
Calico Lionhead - Little Bean
29 gallon
Fantail - Oliver
Black Moor - Damian
Calico Ryukin - Serafina
2.5 gallon
male betta - Pirate
10 gallon planted
minnow, betta, guppy

I am actually going to get feeder goldfish so it doesn't really matter if the turtle eats them. They are just to add a bit of color until becoming food.

A little morbid, but I guess it works.
