| Saphir my Ryukin Goldfish died on 7/24/08 around 5pm-6pm EST I tried to save him from a bacteria infection which looked like Septimicia which he had before with medicine and anti bacteria pellets and which it kept on developing and happened to turn into the dreaded dropsy when his scales started sticking out more and more all over his body.

| Yeah, at least you tried....the horrible truth about dropsy, is that it's an infection of the kidneys.....and even though it seems you have gotten rid of it.....it reappears, and most of the time, takes the life of the fish.....My 8-year-old goldfish, Spot, died of dropsy in 2004. He got better, and then suddenly died...I did some research, and discovered that dropsy doesn't go away, and the best choice is to euthanize them in a humane way..... R.I.P Spot...........1998-2005....."I'll miss you more than you'll ever know"...
