Damian's eye is still swelling. It's an on-going problem.

Baby and Westie, the two fry. Serafina is likely the mother, and Little Bean is is the father. They don't look to bad for half ryukin, half lionhead.:P They're about 1.5" each now, Baby's nearing 2", and they're still growing like weeds.

20 gallon long

Calico Lionhead - Little Bean
29 gallon
Fantail - Oliver
Black Moor - Damian
Calico Ryukin - Serafina

| Those two fry look nice. Especially the Ryukin, Serafina. How big is the tank? What filters do you use? I'm looking into goldfish, red-capped oranda and those goldfish that have a comet body but an orange head and white body. Can I keep them in 67 degrees fahrenheit in the winter and 82 in the summer?

The size of the tank is actually the bane of my life right now. I have one fantail, two lionheads (one is my brother's midget goldie), and the two fry in a 29g tank right now.
Then I have a ryukin and my large telescope in the a 20g long. They are separated because Damian (telescope) is blind from the eye issues, and Serafina's been showing a bit of swelling around her eyes as well.
My goldies have always been housed in tanks that are truly too small for them, starting when I got them and didn't know better, and going on into college dorm life, when the 29g was the biggest I could go and still against the rules. I've been planning for quite a few months now, about 6 at last count, to construct a large sump, just to add water volume. The difficulties that have gotten in the way of that are too numerous to count. Basically, I deal with all that by being utterly scrupulous about water changes, and occasionally switching them around to different tanks. I have a couple of 10g that they've all inhabited at some point. They are all, with the exception of the fry thus far, used to being handled and transferred, and as long as I take care with the temperature, don't suffer from it. Little Bean and the fry are growing big and fast, so I need to figure out a better solution quickly.:w00t:
For filtration, I run an aquaclear on the 29g, that turns over 300gph. I keep two large bags of biomedia and two small ones that I can transfer to new or emergency tanks to seed them. I also have it decently planted with various crypts in pots and java fern, java moss, and various anubias tied to craft mess and weighted with rocks.

Beautiful fish!! Thanks for posting the pix. I especially like the red telescope.
