Ok I hope this question doesn't sound too stupid, but what exactly are 'nano tanks'?  Are they just small aquariums of 10 gallons and under?  Sometimes I glance at other forums and they usually seem to be described with planted tanks so is it more of like a hobby subcategory within aquarium keeping or like an 'all-natural' tank?  Just curious.

Yeah, nano tanks are basically smaller tanks that are planted like bigger ones. Nothing really special, just smaller.

In the industry "nano-tank" usually refers to the packaged tank systems that have a full hood, light and filter. But all it really means is "small."
