Hello and welcome to FishChannel!  Lookin' forward to your posts and helping you start up a great new fish tank.

What size tank were you thinking of putting together?  You can try your local Yellow Pages for aquarium store listings, and places like Petsmart and Petco usually have a large selection of aquariums.  Places that sell fish tanks can also help you special-order one if you have something unusual or uncommon in mind.

Good luck and happy to have you on board.  :)

Welcome Im sure you will find all sorts of info here that will help you with your first tank. As far as where to buy that really depends on where you live and whats available nearby........or if you order online and can find one with free shipping as they are pretty heavy (depending on size of tank) But the main thing is to shop around and make sure that you research your fish that you would like to have before getting them for your tank so that they are the appropriate sizes..........but most importantly make sure to cycle your tank before adding fish:)........Good luck and looking forward to your post!
